What is SecantX AI?

What can SecantX AI do?
Vision analysis of charts, voice commands, educational guidance, quant tools (backtesting, risk assessment), market intelligence, web research, and coverage across major exchanges. Works for beginners and pros.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10+ or macOS 10.14+, 4GB RAM (8GB recommended), 500MB disk space, internet connection.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Designed for everyone, from complete beginners to professional traders. Just type or speak naturally.

What plans are available?
Free trial with initial Asks (credits), then flexible top-ups as needed. Full access to quant tools, multi-agent intelligence, real-time data, and priority support. Optional BYOK for privacy needs.
How does the Asks (credits) system work?
Pay as you go. Start with free trial, then purchase top-ups as needed. Simple queries use fewer Asks (credits), deep analysis uses more. Check balance anytime. Monthly plans include bonus Asks (credits) that expire at the end of each billing cycle. Top-up Asks (credits) never expire.
How do I get more Asks (credits)?
Two options: (1) Go to Settings → Billing, choose your top-up amount, pay with card/crypto. Asks (credits) added instantly. (2) Burn tokens in Settings → Token to unlock premium Asks allocations. Tokens are permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered. Top-up Asks (credits) never expire.
What happens when my Asks (credits) run out?
You'll see a prompt to purchase more. Nothing lost, no interruption. No auto-charges, no hidden fees.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Free trial Asks (credits) for all new users. Full access to text, voice, vision, Education Mode, and quant toolkit. Try risk-free.
Is the token an investment?
No. Tokens are consumable utility instruments that are permanently burned when used to unlock platform access. They do not represent equity, income, ownership, or any claim for redemption. Tokens cannot be exchanged back for money or other value. They are destroyed upon use and have no monetary value outside the SecantX platform.
Can I get my tokens back after burning them?
No. Token burning is permanent and irreversible. When you burn tokens to unlock Asks (credits), those tokens are destroyed forever and removed from circulation. There is no redemption, refund, or recovery mechanism. This is not a payment or purchase - it's a one-way consumption of utility tokens.

What markets and assets does SecantX AI support?

Can SecantX AI execute trades for me?
No. We provide analysis and research only. No trade execution, no broker access. You control all trading decisions.
Privacy & Security
How secure is my data?
End-to-end encryption, JWT authentication, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure, regular third-party audits. We have zero trade execution access.
What data do you collect?
Only what's necessary: email, username, Asks (credits) balance, usage data to improve the product, and conversation history only if Education Mode is enabled with consent. We never collect broker credentials, positions (unless shared), screen captures (processed locally only), or voice recordings (text only).
What is BYOK and why would I use it?
Bring Your Own Key. Use your own OpenAI API key for maximum privacy. Your key, your control.
Can SecantX AI see my broker login credentials?
No. Zero broker integration. We analyze what's displayed on screen visually - no keyboard interception, no saved passwords access, no broker system connections. Your credentials stay separate and secure.
Technical Support
The app won't start. What should I do?
Restart your computer, check for updates, verify antivirus isn't blocking it (add to allowlist if needed), or reinstall fresh. Still stuck? Email support@secantx.ai with your OS version.
I'm getting authentication failed errors
Session expired (click Sign in again), network issue (check connection), or plan change syncing (wait 15 seconds). Persists? Sign out and back in.
Voice input isn't working
Check microphone permissions (Windows: Settings > Privacy > Microphone; macOS: System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Microphone), verify correct mic selected in Settings, test text input first.
Why are my queries slow?
Query complexity, data sources, network speed, and peak usage all affect response time. Typical: 1-3s simple queries, 3-10s market analysis, 10-60s complex quant analysis.
Can I use SecantX AI on multiple computers?
Yes. Your account works on any supported device.

Can I get a refund on Asks (credits) purchases?
No refunds. Asks (credits) immediately grant instant access to institutional-grade resources. Try free trial first. Top-up Asks (credits) never expire. Technical issues? Email support@secantx.ai.
Do Asks (credits) expire?
Monthly plan Asks (credits) expire at the end of each billing cycle and come with bonus Asks (credits). Top-up Asks (credits) purchased separately never expire.
